NJA Town Planning Ltd is a Sussex based planning consultancy. Nikolas Antoniou is a fully qualified and Chartered Town Planner who has worked for a number of private planning consultancies and Local Planning Authorities. This has given him the unique insight of seeing both sides of planning providing an enhanced negotiation skill set. Nikolas now concentrates solely on planning consultancy and is well known and has many contacts in Local Planning Authorities built up over a number of years.

NJA Town Planning Ltd is founded around 4 core principles - Advice, Appraisal, Applications and Appeals.

Town Planning Sussex, Advice

Advice

People are often unfamiliar with the planning system and not sure where to start. The best place is to seek some simple advice so that the planning journey starts in the right direction.

Often there is no charge for an initial meeting/advice as it provides a perfect opportunity to understand the site, meet individuals and understand the needs of both themselves and their businesses. Please feel free to contact us below.

Town Planning Sussex, Appraisals

Appraisals

Before engaging lots of consultants and incurring potentially lots of fees with less certain projects it is prudent to gauge the realistic prospects of success. A detailed planning appraisal will review the planning history of the site, all relevant policies and provide a detailed report highlighting the prospects of success. Clients are regularly thankful to receive such a detailed document so that they understand the full facts before moving forward.

Town Planning Sussex, Applications

Applications

We assist in advising and making all types of planning applications. Quite often we assume the project management role and will co-ordinate all other consultants and bring together the planning application to the point of submission. Thereafter the application will be tracked routinely and negotiations undertaken with the Local Planning Authority to try and ensure that permission is achieved.

Town Planning Sussex, Appeals

Appeals

In the unfortunate event that you experience a refusal of your planning application or enforcement action is taken there is an opportunity to appeal to The Planning Inspectorate for the matter to be determined again at a higher level.

We have dealt with many appeals at all levels such as written representations, hearings, and public inquiries and can advise on the best course of action for your individual case/requirements.
